Eyelets Analysis for Apparels

There are lot of confusions about Eyelets for Apparels. It has various meanings as a result people can remember one of them and claim only that is right! In Apparel Business it is a trim which is usually used mainly for decorative or design purpose, and sometimes for needs like secure the edge of pocket instead of tuck seam.

I have gathered this idea by asking eyelet from Trims Supplier, and tried to understand what is meant by the word eyelets by the business people, what products are generally bought with name of eyelets.
